Since winter has finally decided to show its face (and what a cold and scary face it is), I thought I could write a post about winter books. Given that F is very disappointed that it hasn't snowed yet (apart from the out-of-season snow we had back in October), reading about it helps a little bit. Poor F, he remembers the big snow storms we had last year and since the temperatures have been dropping he's been dreaming of going out and play in the snow. So I noticed that he gets very excited about the description of all the things that the characters usually do in the stories and it's almost as if he's been able to touch some snow through the books.
The list is small, but they are all very nice. Right now our favorite is: The Snowy Day. It is so well written, that you can actually hear the little boy walking in the snow.
I recently purchased this very cute book for P, who's a train lover.
